is recommended NOT to eat anything 2 hours before practising Yoga (or at least 1) - but no, it is
NOT a crime if you do..as long as you keep it light & easy to digest

An avocado, a banana or some almonds are good examples.
I peronally find it easier to practise yoga on an empty stomach & in the morning..but we all have different needs & if you feel you can not relax and enjoy the class on an empty stomach - then do eat something - just don't overeat :)
